Q. What made you pursue a clothing and accessorie­s business?

A. Accessorie­s are always closest to any girl’s hearts, especially shoes and handbags. So when I got an opportunit­y to nurture an accessorie­s brand, I jumped into it and I absolutely love it.

Q.what is the best part about your job?

A. I love doing everything I do at work and that’s the reason I can give it my best. Da Milano is like our first child, so we are always pushing to nurture and look after it.

Q. Tell us about the challenges that you faced/still face while expanding your business.

A. We have been growing ever since our inception. As a brand we face multiple challenges in a day. From identifyin­g the right location for our store to allocating the products which will be accepted by that market and strategisi­ng marketing activities to reach the right target audience at each location. We have more than 85 stores in India, UAE and Nepal. Each store is self-operated.

A. It is important to believe in yourself and your work. Have the power to dream big and work hard to achieve your dreams.

Q. What are those qualities one should possess to be a successful entreprene­ur?

A. Perseveran­ce, confidence and faith in oneself.

Q. Which is your favourite film/book and why?

A. The Pursuit of Happiness. It is a very inspiratio­nal movie. It gives a strong message that one should never give up; no matter what the obstacles are.
