‘My inclination is towards organic and natural products’

-

Q. What inspired you to start a beauty-based blog?

A. I always had an inclination towards gharelu nuskhe [home remedies]. And with the current rise of skin care industry in India, we all want to look beautiful. It is one thing which connects with everyone, be it a 50-year-old woman or a 15-year-old girl.

Q. What is your all-time favourite makeup product?

A. I primarily focus more on skin care/hair care, and that too my inclination is always toward organic and natural products.

Q. How do you differentiate yourself from the other bloggers in the beauty industry?

A. I primarily focus more on skin care / hair care and there too, my inclination is always toward organic and natural products.

Q. Do you feel pressured to always look your best? A. No, not at all. We all are humans here. Beauty blogger doesn’t mean that I need to look like a porcelain doll all the time. It is very important for the viewers to feel that you are like them. I am not here to become a celebrity. The idea is to provide knowledge in whatever best form I can.

Q. What is the idea behind the name of your blog “Talksassy”?

A. The name actually just popped up in my head. I wanted a fun word. Sassy could be in terms of anything—food, beauty, views, clothes, makeup, personality of the person etc. So I fitted the bill perfectly. Apart from that, I used the word “talk” because, I knew that I am going to talk about sassy things. Therefore, the name was finalised as “Talksassy”.
