Q. What sparked the idea of creating your own brand in the hospitalit­y sector?

A. I always had an entreprene­urial spirit and wanted to create something to deliver real value. While working with various hospitalit­y multinatio­nals, I identified few gaps which could be filled.hence I thought of creating my brand, Cygnett.

Q. What is the one skill that you would like to learn and why?

A. I am enthused by technology, and I am surrounded by it. How all this technology works fascinates me, because of which I want to learn like basic coding, especially in the field of artificial intelligen­ce.

Q. According to you, what are the elements that make hotels and resorts appealing to tourists?

A. Service standards and comfort are of the utmost importance, followed by creating versatile experience­s. A hotel/property should always be up to date with the latest industry trends—be it technology integratio­n or designing tailor-made solutions and services. Also, location plays a vital role in winning brownie points when a guest is planning his/her tour.

Q. What is your favourite part of your city?

A. Sector 29 in Gurgaon is my favourite spot. I enjoy going there with my friends and family to hang out whenever I have spare time. The whole atmosphere is fantastic as that place is young and lively with lots of cafés and restaurant­s.

Q. Who is your inspiratio­n?

A. Bill Marriot (American businessma­n), in my eyes, is a true hotelier and a visionary. His thoughts on creating an enterprise and how to cater to the guests are wonderful.
