Q. What’s your vision behind organising Beauty Fest? A. When it comes to beauty or makeup, what really appears in our mind is a pool of artists in our country, and that is what makes Touchwood Group believe that it’s important to raise the beauty segments and build a community which collaborat­es with everyone from the beauty industry under one roof. That’s our vision behind organising India’s biggest beauty festival named Makemeup in which total of 40 Studios, 25 Makeup Artists and 15 top notch brands from across India participat­e and will assist visitors with their queries. .

Q. How is the makeup industry evolving in India? A. Makeup and beauty industry in India is evolving very rapidly and smartly, in both the terms of economy and developmen­t. Confederat­ion of Indian Industry revealed that the Indian beauty market, which was valued at US $6.5 billion in 2017, is expected to grow threefold by 2025. So this figure can give us a very clear idea that the makeup industry is evolving very well in India.

Q. Tell us about your favourite book.

A. P.S. I Love You by Cecelia Ahern. The reason why I’m really in love with this book is that it has some different sort of love story, it gives a different connotatio­n of life and it’s a beautiful story of partners, and The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho because of it’s psyche.

Q. What’s are some must have makeup essentials in your kit?

A. Concealer, brows pencil and red tint lip balm or lipstick. These are the must have makeup essentials for a person like me.

Q. What’s your favourite destinatio­n? A. Bali, Indonesia and Wengen, Switzerlan­d.
