Star­lit Suites is on a growth spree and has plans to open four more prop­er­ties within the next 12 months across In­dia. In fact, the com­pany is plan­ning a pan In­dia pres­ence in the next few years and is work­ing hard to­wards the goal. Elab­o­rat­ing on their growth strat­egy,

Sau­rabh Minocha, Man­ag­ing Di­rec­tor, Star­lit Suites, says, “The brand is poised to grow at a steady pace to meet our tar­geted pro­jec­tion of 3000 keys in In­dia by 2020. We al­ready have var­i­ous prop­er­ties in stages of com­ple­tion, which would be close to 800 keys. Apart from that, we have another 700 keys un­der con­struc­tion, which would be on board by mid to late 2019. We are also in ad­vanced stages of ne­go­ti­a­tion to de­velop 1500 more keys.”

He con­fesses that the travel trade would play a ma­jor role in achiev­ing the kind of growth they are fore­see­ing. “We do sev­eral tiered ac­ti­va­tions with our travel part­ners, start­ing with pre-launch teaser cam­paigns and in­tro­duc­tory rates to long-term con­sol­ida­tor and se­ries con­tracts that help po­si­tion the prod­uct in the mar­ket at its op­ti­mum mar­ket driven rate,” shares Minocha.

As a com­pany based on the dis­tri­bu­tion of ho­tels com­ing up and be­ing signed on, Star­lit Suites has an equal spread among leisure/cor­po­rate FIT; fam­ily/group leisure and busi­ness. “In fact, we also have a fourth di­men­sion, which is the ex­tended stay seg­ment as of­fer­ing to even look af­ter the needs for tran­sient pro­fes­sion­als that travel across the coun­try on des­ig­nated pro­jects ho­tels com­ing up in Tiru­pati, Shirdi and Naini­tal, we are in­creas­ing our foot­print in the pil­grim­age/leisure travel mar­ket. We will be fo­cus­ing on busi­ness ho­tels with three com­ing up soon in Gachi­bowli Hy­der­abad, Ban­ga­lore and Pune,” he claims.
