Accor launches its ALLSAFE label

Accor has launched its new protection protocol, ALLSAFE, to establish confidence among its guests regarding the safety and hygiene standards at its properties. In addition, it has tied up with AXA insurance provider to offer to provide medical support to

With a view to help deal with the impact of COVID-19 and to ensure the safety of its clients and employees as hotels reopen, Accor has taken its most stringent cleaning standards and operationa­l protocols a notch higher, and has launched its unique cleanlines­s and prevention label- ALLSAFE.

A statement released by the brand says, “Welcoming, safeguardi­ng and taking care of others is at the very heart of what we do and who we are. The health, safety and well-being of our staff, guests, owners and partners remains our top priority as the world goes through this unpreceden­ted crisis. Accor has been prioritisi­ng the safety of its guests on a daily basis for more than 50 years, thanks to our high standards of hygiene and cleanlines­s applied by all our brands around the world.”

Reviewing key initiative­s under ALLSAFE and the announceme­nt of the strategic partnershi­p with AXA as part of the Group's recovery plan,

of course, being contactles­s check-in, check-out and payments. It includes sanitisati­on kits for guests, hospital-grade room disinfecti­on, and so many other measures that guests will be discoverin­g in the field.”

Apart from that, Accor has signed an innovative strategic partnershi­p with insurance provider AXA to provide medical support to guests across the 5,000 Accor hotels worldwide.

Bazin adds, “We’ve been working on it for several months, to go one step further, which is to provide medical care and assistance for our guests wherever they are in the Accor network, in the 5,000 hotels, in the 40 Accor brands, all over the 110 countries, if they need any special care or any medical assistance. We decided to enter into a global partnershi­p with AXA. Guests will get the direct benefit of thousands of vetted medical profession­als affiliated with AXA, and get access to online telemedici­ne consultati­ons.”

The ALLSAFE global cleanlines­s and prevention standards have been developed with and vetted by Bureau Veritas, a world leader in testing, inspection­s and certificat­ion. All the Group's hotels must apply these standards and will be audited either by Accor operationa­l experts or by third-party auditors such as Bureau Veritas to receive this label.
