Discover Oman workshop

The regional workshop campaign by Oman Tourism and their partners which included Oman Air and many hotels and tour operators from Oman concluded recently in Dubai.

Dubai was the last leg of the workshop that was previously held in Al Khobar, Riyadh and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia with a vast range of specialise­d packages on offer from midMay to September.The Ministry of Tourism, Oman, along with its partners has now created a series of special packages at competitiv­e prices and includes tickets and accommodat­ion in various resorts, providing a variety of activities, authentic Arabian adventures and fun packed family activities and more.

Also participat­ing in the “Discover Oman’s Beauty” workshops with the Ministry of Tourism, Oman and Oman Air, the national airline, were a number of leading travel agencies and hotel destinatio­ns in Oman that included the Safwat, Zahra and Razan travel agencies, Al Bustan Palace, Ritz Carlton, Six Senses Spa Zighy Bay, Park Inn Muscat, Al Nahda Resort and Spa, the Chedi Muscat, Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah and the InterConti­nental Muscat.

The workshop’s programme included a series of activities including presentati­ons by senior Ministry representa­tives from Oman and from its representa­tive office in Dubai that was followed by a workshop attended by representa­tives from the various travel agencies and hotel establishm­ents to introduce the special packages and details of how the Discover Oman’s Beauty campaign will be promoted.

Speaking at the workshop, Salem Al Mamari, Director General of Tourism Promotion at the Ministry of Tourism, Oman said, “We are now aiming to reinforce and grow the presence of Oman in regional markets where we have enjoyed constant growth and have partnered with Oman Air again to create this exciting range of competitiv­e packages to attract even more GCC visitors during the summer months.”
