Al Bait Shar­jah ex­u­ber­ates new lux­ury

Spread over 10,000 sqm, the lat­est five-star ho­tel project be­ing de­vel­oped by GHM Ho­tels un­der the Gov­ern­ment of Shar­jah’s Heart of the City cam­paign is ‘Al Bait’. The prop­erty will pro­vide the ex­pe­ri­ence of step­ping into a real Emi­rati house of the by­gon

Abou­tique prop­erty with 53 lux­ury gue­strooms and suites, Al Bait is cur­rently un­der con­struc­tion in the heart of Shar­jah. The whole area will con­sist of two sto­ried build­ings in order to pre­serve the area considered a her­itage site. Gen­eral Ho­tel Man­age­ment (GHM) is known for its most ex­cep­tional cre­ation of lux­ury ho­tels and re­sorts in some of the most unique lo­ca­tions ca­ter­ing to the dis­cern­ing clien­tele from around the globe. Al Bait Shar­jah will com­prise of suites of var­i­ous sizes de­pict­ing Ara­bic in­flu­ence com­bined with Asian de­sign. There will be nine deluxe rooms, 13 deluxe pa­tio rooms, nine grand rooms, 10 grand pa­tio rooms, four her­itage rooms, two her­itage suites and four suites. Shar­jah pre­serves it­self as the cul­tural cap­i­tal of the Arab world, hence, this ho­tel has been con­cep­tu­alised and is on its way to be one of the most unique prop­er­ties in the emi­rates. GHM is a Sin­ga­pore-based com­pany unique for its exclusive man­age­ment of con­cep­tu­alised ho­tels around the globe.

“We are a five star exclusive bou­tique ho­tel which cater to a very dis­cern­ing and high end clien­tele. There are very an­cient build­ings around and re­garded as a UNESCO her­itage site. The ho­tel has nearly 10 to 12 build­ings and is in­te­grated to the sur­round­ings we built the con­cept among them with over 17 ac­cess points. There are var­i­ous souks around the ho­tel, var­i­ous walk­ways and paths to go around and dis­cover the ho­tel. We have hosts as­signed to var­i­ous rooms with per­son­alised checkin for the guests. The tag line is - a style to re­mem­ber,” Leven said.

In terms of gas­tro­nom­i­cal de­lights, there will be restau­rants serv­ing dif­fer­ent types of cuisines from around the world. The names of the F&B out­lets are sim­ple. ‘The Res­tau­rant’ will open for break­fast, lunch and din­ner of­fer­ing in­ter­na­tional cui­sine and scrump­tious dishes from around the world. The space has a main din­ing area and an open-air ter­race. For those who pre­fer a taste of Ara­bia, there is ‘The Ara­bic Res­tau­rant’. It will be Al Bait Shar­jah’s sig­na­ture res­tau­rant spe­cial­is­ing in tra­di­tional Emi­rati cui­sine, served in an el­e­gant, Ara­bic set­ting.

The ‘Ice Cream Shop’ is dif­fer­ent from the tra­di­tional ice cream par­lours. Ice cream is re­ferred to as Don­durma (which trans­lates to ‘freez­ing’) and are unique ice creams with Turk­ish and Azer­bai­jani in­flu­ence. ‘The Café’ will open daily for af­ter­noon tea and of­fer a quiet space among the her­itage build­ings, where guests can sa­vor rich Ara­bic tea and cof­fee and pair with tra­di­tional Emi­rati sweets such as the ‘luqey­mat’.

Spa and Fit­ness

The 500m2 spa at Al Bait Shar­jah opens the door to an in­ti­mate world ded­i­cated to the restora­tion of strength, beauty, and bal­ance of the body, mind and soul fol­low­ing an­cient heal­ing tra­di­tions of the East. The treat­ments in­clude stim­u­lat­ing body pol­ishes, nur­tur­ing en­vel­op­ments, re­ju­ve­nat­ing beauty rit­u­als and ther­a­peu­tic mas­sages, are de­signed to pam­per and re­store vi­tal­ity. The ladies’ spa fa­cil­ity in­cludes a re­cep­tion and spa bou­tique, three treat­ment rooms, a re­lax­ation lounge, and hy­dro­ther­mal fa­cil­i­ties in­clud­ing a ‘ham­mam’, steam

The men’s spa fa­cil­ity shares the re­cep­tion and spa bou­tique, and has two sep­a­rate treat­ment suites, and hy­dro­ther­mal fa­cil­i­ties in­clude a ham­mam, steam room and sauna. ‘The Health Club’ will be a state-of-the-art gym­na­sium, com­plete with the lat­est techn­o­gym equip­ment that in­cludes a ki­ne­sis zone, car­dio zone, free weights zone, stretch and Arke zone, and fit­ness lounge. The out­door swim­ming pool will be ex­clu­sively open to ho­tel guests.
