In con­ver­sa­tion with Ben Bridge, EVP Global Busi­ness at Air­bus He­li­copters

BenBridge in­ter­acted and spoke with Vayu dur­ing the visit. We fo­cused more on what Air­bus he­li­copters’ was cur­rently en­gaged in world­wide rather than only In­dia. On the topic of civil and para­pub­lic mar­kets and launch of the Air­bus Cor­po­rate He­li­copters ACH, he stated, “This seg­ment has seen a down­turn since the past 5 years or so but we ex­pect to see it grow again from 2019 on. As of to­day, we have se­cured 33% of the while strength­en­ing our cus­tomers’ sat­is­fac­tion, we have de­cided to launch Air­bus Cor­po­rate He­li­copters (ACH). The range of our he­li­copters is the same for all our cus­tomers but the equip­ment so­lu­tions we of­fer are tai­lored to the for this seg­ment is re­ally a phi­los­o­phy which re­quires a ded­i­cated ap­proach. Bench­mark­ing the cor­po­rate jet in­dus­try’s high­est stan­dards, ACH makes a dif­fer­ence in the own­er­ship ex­pe­ri­ence and the high-end qual­ity of its Cor­po­rate/ trans­port needs. ACH was launched in 2017 and we are look­ing for­ward to see­ing ACH160 is highly an­tic­i­pated in the small medium mar­ket and is gen­er­at­ing he­li­copters in­cor­po­rat­ing He­lionix, our state-of-the-art avion­ics so­lu­tion and process of de­liv­er­ing an H225 to a cus­tomer in the Mid­dle East”.

The af­fa­ble Ben Bridge has over a decade and a half ex­pe­ri­ence with BAE Sys­tems where he was Re­gional Man­ag­ing Di­rec­tor for Europe and the Amer­i­cas, and pre­vi­ously as Man­ag­ing Di­rec­tor for the Mid­dle East and Africa. Bridge also served as In­ter­na­tional Sales Di­rec­tor for BAE’s Se­cu­rity and In­tel­li­gence Di­vi­sion and brings a broad and valid port­fo­lio of ex­pe­ri­ence in global busi­ness Gazelle.
