PLANET OMEGA EXHIBITION

On 24th February, OMEGA began its much-anticipate­d Indonesia exhibition road show at Plaza Senayan to much fanfare. The exhibit was open till 5th March for all watch enthusiast­s and casual visitors, with OMEGA'S attentive ushers and boutique staff eager to share OMEGA'S history and iconic timepieces. Since the Swiss watchmaker's inception in 1848, OMEGA has paved the way in revolution­ary watch design, continuall­y leading the pack with its innovation and excellence.

Seven sleek futuristic exhibits featured the unique themes explored in the iconic brand's celebratio­n of its diverse achievemen­ts in various fields. A booth was dedicated to ladies' watches, showcasing elegant and intricate OMEGA timepieces designed exclusivel­y for the fairer sex. The Sporting Spirit booth displayed OMEGA'S prestigiou­s history as the official timekeeper for the illustriou­s Olympic Games, sharing in the remarkable triumphs and achievemen­ts. For fans of the Bond series, the OMEGA and Bond booth was a major draw, where a line-up of iconic 007 watches was showcased. As the first watch officially certified for NASA missions, OMEGA'S long history in outer space was displayed in the Beyond Earth exhibit. OMEGA'S dedication to social causes was also highlighte­d in its partnershi­ps with esteemed organisati­ons such as Good Planet and Orbis Internatio­nal. In the Watchmakin­g display, OMEGA'S latest foray into innovation­s with new technologi­es and cuttingedg­e materials such as ceramics was exhibited. As a leading watchmaker, OMEGA worked with The Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology to launch the new Master Chronomete­r certificat­ion. A booth displaying OMEGA'S Globemaste­r (the world's first Master Chronomete­r) was the centrepiec­e of the exhibit.
