Christian dior

Born in 1905 as the second child to a wealthy family, Christian Dior was always fascinated by the arts. Despite his family's hopes that he would become a diplomat, Dior was determined to set out on his own path. When he left school at the age of 23, he started a small art gallery and sold works by artists such as Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali and Christian Gérard, who he greatly admired.

Dior studied under the renowned fashion designer Robert Piguet and the fashion house of Lucian Lelong before starting the Dior fashion house. Since its launch in 1946, Dior has established itself as the foremost authority in the fashion world with its elegant and revolutionary designs.
