Since its in­cep­tion in 2011, Hong Kong's In­ter­na­tional Arts Car­ni­val has drawn large crowds from Asia and all over the world. Ev­ery sum­mer, the fam­ily arts car­ni­val is highly an­tic­i­pated by chil­dren, teenagers and fam­i­lies alike. The car­ni­val fea­tures ex­cit­ing line-ups of de­light­ful art pro­grammes in­clud­ing acrobatics, theatre, bub­ble shows, dances, clown theatre, magic shows and var­i­ous fun work­shops by artists from around the globe.

This year, the car­ni­val will be opened by the ac­claimed China Na­tional Ac­ro­batic Troupe. World-renowned for their art­ful blend of tra­di­tional per­for­mances with con­tem­po­rary in­flu­ences, the troupe will daz­zle fam­i­lies with dy­namic di­a­bolo rou­tines, daz­zling bal­anc­ing acts and el­e­gant um­brella-jug­gling rou­tines. An­other highly an­tic­i­pated show is the Off-broad­way smash hit, The Gazil­lion Bub­ble Show by Fan Yang Pro­duc­tions In­ter­na­tional. The stun­ning per­for­mance has gar­nered 18 Guin­ness World records in its record-break­ing 10-year-run. To par­take in the full range of fes­tiv­i­ties, par­ents are ad­vised to mark their cal­en­dar from 6th July to 13th Au­gust.
