Located on Singapore's resort island of Sentosa, Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) is Asia's ultimate lifestyle destination resort. Set on 49ha of landscaped tropical island, RWS is home to many award-winning and worldclass attractions including Universal Studios Singapore, S.E.A. Aquarium, Dolphin Island and Adventure Cove Waterpark. It also features the largest number of Michelin-starred restaurants in one destination: Curate, Forest, Fratelli, Osia Steak and Seafood, L'atelier de Joël Robuchon and Joël Robuchon Restaurant, firmly establishing RWS as leaders in the city's vibrant dining scene.

There's lots to see and do at Resorts World Sentosa and here's a look at just a few of our family favourites for kids of all ages.

ADVENTURE COVE WATERPARK

A waterpark filled with exciting highspeed waterslides, fun pools and adventurous journeys, a tropical reef with 20,000 friendly fish to snorkel with and the chance for face-to-face encounters with rays and sharks! If that's your idea of family fun, then look no further than the Adventure Cove Waterpark.

Grab a racer mat and beat your dad into second place on the fast and furious Duelling Racer or pop over to the Pipeline Plunge, it's like riding a water tornado in the dark! Drop through an elevated chute that sends you careening down banked turns, radical twists and dips before splashing out in a pool of water. Or get flushed in the Spiral Washout, an oscillating tube ride that has you twisting and turning through the high-speed water flume. The adventures just keep on coming. Check out the Tidal Twister, Splashworks, Whirlpool Washout and the Riptide Rocket before heading to the immersive experiences of Rainbow Reef and the fabulous Ray Bay where you can wade in the shallows surrounded by rays.

Sounds fun? But there's more! Take a tube on the leisurely ride down Adventure River, floating through 14 stunning scenes including a lush jungle garden, a mysterious grotto and an underwater tunnel with a sea

of marine life swimming above and around you. Head to the Big Bucket Treehouse, Bluewater Bay or to Seahorse Hideaway designed for smaller kids who can splash around in this shallow wading pool, complete with funky fountains.

S.E.A. AQUARIUM

Home to over 100,000 marine animals from 800 species, a visit to S.E.A. Aquarium is a fascinating experience for all the family.

Divided into 10 zones featuring 49 different habitats, each one as mesmerising as the next, your journey begins in Strait of Karimata and the

Java Sea. Prepare to be astounded by a monumental shipwreck with a splintered hull that has evolved into a thriving marine habitat. Next up is a wondrous underwater journey over the Strait of Malacca and the Andaman Sea seen beneath your feet via the glass floor.

Zone Three explores the mysteries of the Sundarbans Mangroves found along the coast of the Bay of Bengal before you head out to sea to encounter the famed Indopacific bottlenose dolphins and creatures from colder water like giant spider crabs, chambered nautilus and the electrifying pulsating dances of the translucent jellyfish seen from below through the massive Ocean Dome.

It's the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea next before heading inland to the Rift Valley lakes of Victoria and Tanganyika, home to an astounding variety of fish that come in all shapes, sizes and colours.

The South China Sea zone is crammed with brightly coloured crustaceans, some bold, some hard to see and it is here we find one of the kids' favourite spots, the moray eel habitat, where they can scramble into a cave, peer from a dome like a deep-sea diver to get close-up and personal with the eels as they dart from their crevices.

Last but by no means least enter Shark Seas, an awe-inspiring habitat that transports you right into the underwater world of one of the ocean's top predators. See the aggressive silvertip shark, the sandbar shark - one of the largest coastal sharks in the world - plus endangered species such as the scalloped hammerhead shark swim majestically above your head in this stunning walkthrough aquarium.
