Kickoff 2018 in absolute style at the fabulous Hong Kong Disneyland Resort as it unleashes a year of unprecedented magic.

In colourful celebration of the Chinese New Year, throughout January and March, Mickey Mouse’s faithful companion Pluto, supported by Goofy, the God of Fortune, will take centre stage as the resort celebrates the Year of the Dog.

Festooned in the lucky colours of red and gold with garlands and lamps abounding, Main Street, USA is the place for families and friends to join in the bustling, festive New Year fun and frolics. Meet and greet Mickey, Pluto, Goofy and the rest of his pals, who will all be dressed in their holiday finest.

No-one loves food more than the Chinese and a range of festive delicacies is available throughout the park and three resort hotels, including classic Chinese dishes like lo hei and Chinese New Year-themed snacks.

If you can’t make the New Year celebrations don’t worry, from March you can join the Disney Friends Springtime Carnival. A colourful event of music and merriment filled with more Disney characters than you could possibly imagine!
