TWO YEARS AND GOING STRONG

-

Hilton Garden Inn Bali Ngurah Rai Airport opened just two years ago and is going strong on the island. Offering a bright, lively atmosphere with sunny service, food cooked from scratch and a free shuttle to both the airport and Kuta, it has a lot to offer.

With plenty of positive feedback online and on social media, General Manager Jean-philippe De Haes is keen to continue strengthening the brand's presence on the island and developing his young team. “The team here has been working very hard over the last two years and we are seeing the result of that effort with repeat guests, good reviews and are also winning food and beverage competitions. I am very proud of their determination and dedication,” he said. “Our goal now is to become better known for MICE and to become a reference hotel for Hilton Garden Inns in Asia and the Pacific.”

The Bali staff are consistently seeing both their hotel or their own names mentioned in the group's newsletter for their achievements. The chefs recently won an award at the Salon Culinaire 2018 in Bali, while one of the hotel's baristas won first prize in the Hilton's internal competition for Southeast Asia.

Commenting on this achievement, Jeanphilippe said, “It was a life-changing experience for our award-winning barista; he had never flown before or visited Jakarta and to witness these moments was something very special. I am proud to be part of Hilton and to be part of our team's lives.”

The hotel's location by the airport makes it a popular venue for incoming and outgoing travellers and the team work hard to ensure that their guests' first or last impression of Bali is a good one. It also serves as a popular venue for meetings, with plenty of government agencies and companies taking advantage of the facilities and its location for the ease of reaching Bali's many attractions.
