On 23rd March, the hotel held a Cleaning Fun Walk in the public area around the hotel for the hotel's employees as part of the celebrations. The walk was followed by a tumpeng rice-cutting ceremony as well as a donation drive for orphans. Some 150 orphans were invited to join in the tumpeng rice-cutting ceremony at the hotel. The orphans were gifted goodie bags as well as donations from Hotel Borobudur Jakarta. The generous gesture was part of the hotel's initiative in supporting the community.
