First opened in May 2010, Murphy's offers great Irish food, beer (draught Guinness and Kilkenny), an authentic atmosphere, music and, of course, some legendary Irish “craic” to spice up the social scene. Before the very popular draught Kilkenny made headway in Jakarta, Murphy's was the first bar to serve it and was first again to introduce draught Guinness to Jakarta, both imported from Dublin, Ireland to create a real authentic Irish experience.

Live resident bands play all the best international songs every Friday and Saturday night, with Jakarta's only live traditional Irish music session from 3PM to 6PM every Sunday. Also doubling as a sports bar, Murphy's broadcasts all major sporting events live on a number of large TV screens. Complimenting Murphy's friendly and cosy atmosphere is an international standard pool table and darts board to keep things lively.
