IWC Pilot’s Watch Automatic Spitfire

First presented at SIHH 2019, the

Pilot’s Watch Automatic Spitfire from

IWC Schaffhausen remains true to the purist instrument design of the

Mark 11 navigation watch, which was produced from 1948 onward for the Royal Air Force. The watch comes in a case measuring an eminently wearable 39mm and also has a soft-iron inner case that effectively shields the movement from magnetic fields. Above all else, it is the combination of the bronze case, olive green dial and brown calfskin strap that gives the watch a unique character. Powered by the IWC-manufactured 32110 calibre, this watch is completed with bi-directional pawl-winding that builds up a power reserve of 72 hours.
