This year’s headliners in the world of horology
Things are changing in Geneva. For its 30th edition in April 2020, the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie
(SIHH) will make the biggest change yet and adopt the name Watches & Wonders Geneva.
“Because it’s about more than watches, we chose a name that conveys a sense of wonder, excellence, openness, and discovery; a different way to experience watchmaking. Watches & Wonders becomes the focal point for the exceptional talent, creativity and infinite innovation of the world’s leading watch and jewelry maisons,” explained Fabienne Lupo, Chairwoman and Managing Director of the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie.
As a global concept that celebrates fine watchmaking worldwide, from April 25-29, 2020, Watches & Wonders Geneva will bring the entire international watch community together. On top of that, this will also be the first time the event opens its doors through the “In the City” program, which will invite not just professionals, but also the general public—particularly young people—to discover and experience watchmaking in a whole new way.
