COINCIDING WITH THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE TIME PLACE, CHOPARD PRESENTS A SPECIAL EDITION TIMEPIECE CELEBRATING THE INDONESIAN ARCHIPELAGO
Coinciding with the 20th anniversary of The Time Place, Chopard presents a timepiece celebrating the Indonesian archipelago
For quite some time now, Indonesia has grown into an important market for fine watches. More importantly, it is a market that continues to mature. And at the forefront of this growing appreciation stands The Time Place.
The journey of The Time Place began in 1999 with a single boutique in Plaza Senayan, Jakarta. Today, it is renowned as the country’s leading retailer of luxury timepieces. And 2019 also marks
The Time Place’s 20th anniversary. To commemorate this momentous milestone—and as testament to its reputation in the watch industry— four distinguished watch brands has prepared special edition watches with Indonesia as the theme or design element. One of them is none other than Chopard, with an exclusive iteration of the L.U.C Perpetual
Twin bearing a special tribute to the Indonesian archipelago.
The L.U.C Perpetual Twin – Indonesia edition features a gold-toned dial, blue perpetual calendar counters and a matching blue alligator leather strap. Powering this watch is the L.U.C 96.22-L mechanical movement, encased in an 18K rose gold case. Naturally, every bit of gold used in the construction of this watch is ethically-sourced, following Chopard’s commitment last year to use only ethical gold.
What truly makes this special edition special, besides it being a limited edition of 10 pieces, is the caseback. When you flip the watch around, you can see a map of the Indonesian archipelago seemingly floating over the movement. It is, for sure, a remarkable version of an already great timepiece and makes for a nice reminder of your very own Journey Through Time.
