Not con­tent with dom­i­nat­ing the global leather back­pack scene,

has spread their wings and col­lab­o­rated with Bri­tish de­signer Christo­pher Rae­burn to cre­ate their de­but cloth­ing col­lec­tion. Five key aes­thetic points were cho­sen as the de­par­ture point for this col­lec­tion: sea­son-less, sus­tain­able, uni­sex, mul­ti­func­tional and mo­bile. The color pal­ette for the col­lec­tion, mean­while, took af­ter the Bavar­ian flag—quite ap­pro­pri­ate as the brand orig­i­nated in Mu­nich—and is trans­posed into dove grey, crisp blue and lemon yel­low. On its first run­way show in South Korea, the col­lec­tion show­cased cam­ou­flage pat­terns and bright prints, and paired jack­ets with shorts—some­thing that, ac­cord­ing to MCM, might ap­peal to mil­len­ni­als. It might sound risky to fo­cus on that par­tic­u­lar gen­er­a­tion, but, as al­ways, only time will tell.
