One thing’s for sure: You’re never too old for breakouts. However, what differentiates adolescent and adult acne is location. Teens tend to suffer breakouts around the T-zone while adults will likely find acne along the U-zone—across the chin and the lower halves of the cheeks. Kiehl’s has come up with a new product to reduce the appearance of acne on adult (and aging) skin: the Dermatologist Solutions Breakout Control Targeted Blemish Spot Treatment. One of the key ingredients of this product is sulfur, which can reduce the size of acne lesions without irritating the skin surrounding them. The addition of vitamin B3 also helps soothe the skin and prevents it from feeling oily.
