When it comes to dive watches, Schaffhausen has really made a strong mark with their handsome Aquatimer timepieces, the latest of which celebrates a special underwater species that has long been revered as the king of the sea: sharks. As a matter of fact, the Aquatimer Chronograph Edition “Sharks” watch is even more special as it is limited to 500 pieces and comes bundled with a photo-book titled “Sharks” by renowned American artist Michael Muller. But back to the automatic watch itself, the 44mm stainless steel chronograph looks understated on the front, although it commands attention on the wrist owing to its thickness of 17mm. Its ultimate allure, however, is the case-back where a beautiful engraving depicting swimming hammerhead sharks adorns the center.
