There’s one element that will probably remind you of home when you see the spring/summer 2017 collection from the ikat fabric. This traditional tapestry from Indonesia is infused into the whole collection from trousers, tops to jackets. The collection’s name, Blue Ikat, is a reference to a fishermen-like silhouette in the styling. Interestingly enough, Etro has also put a personalized tag on each item that reads “Fatto a mano, con Amore, for You, on the Italian Peninsula,” the first part of the phrase translates into “made by hand, with love.”
