Located on the ground floor of Pacific Place, ( Pacific Place, Ground Floor Unit G-05D; +62 21 5797 3553; super-loco.com/ jakarta/) is a new establishment from the Union Group and the Loco Group that serves up authentic Mexican flavors. The restaurant’s menu is created by Australian chef Jason Jones, co-founder of the famed Mamasita eatery in Melbourne. His Elotes (barbecued corn on the cob with chipotle mayo and cotija cheese) is a definite must try; as is the Tostaditas (blue swimmer crab and habanero mayo and ceviche of red snapper and mango) and Cachete y Lengua tacos (filled with sliced ox tongue and cheek and chili).
