Where Street Meets Luxury Louis Vuitton

Luxury and street fashion blends together in and Supreme’s collaboration for their fall/winter 2017 menswear collection. Perhaps the most evident proof of their integration was the blend of the Supreme logo inside Louis Vuitton’s monogram, as seen on the denim shirts and jerseys. By adding luxury to streetwear, the collection becomes much more appealing to millenials. The trunks, duffle bags, and rucksacks still manage to look as luxurious as any Louis Vuitton bag, even when Supreme’s bright red color is used to replace the classic dark-brown. All in all, it seems that no matter what you do to a Louis Vuitton bag—place Supreme’s logo in a dominant position (as seen on the now-iconic bright red duffel bag) or with just one Louis Vuitton monogram at the bottom (like on the clutch)—you could still tell even from far away that it is a Louis Vuitton bag.
