Celebrating Martin Margiela’s time as creative director for Hermès,

“Margiela: The Hermès Years” (Lannoo) recollects the Belgian designer’s everlasting collections she created for the French luxury brand. This book acts as an accompaniment to the actual exhibition of the designer’s collection that is on display in the Antwerp Fashion Museum, Belgium, until the end of August ’17. The collection will show Margiela’s bold and eccentric pieces that he made during his Hermès years, which are often referred to as the style of deconstruction. Furthermore, this book incorporates input by Margiela himself as well as new photography, drawings and testimonies that have never been published before.
