While a certain role-playing game series with the word “final” in it is much better known globally, in Japan, the “Dragon Quest” games do just as well—if not better—than the aforementioned fantasy behemoth. And it would seem that the release of “Dragon Quest XI” will be another surefire hit. Actually, it has already topped a number of sales charts in Japan

months before the game’s release. Expect solid combat and exploration mechanics, memorable visuals and a riveting story. Alas, there is no official word yet on the game’s English language version.
