Get ready for some more crazy mythical creatures, ancient curses, bandagewrapped corpses and swarms of insects and bugs, because “The Mummy” is back to haunt—and slightly gross—us out. This time, the main “Mummy” will be Ahmanet (Sofia Boutella), an ancient Egyptian princess who was buried alive over 3,000 years ago for committing treason. Tom Cruise, taking a break from spies, terrorists, IMF, CIA and the FBI ( you know, the mortals), is set to play as lead Nick Morton. This movie will mark the 14th film in the franchise, and will serve as the first installment in the Universal Monsters Cinematic Universe, which is like the Marvel Cinematic Universe but with mummies and monsters.
