After more than twenty years of development, “Wonder Woman” is finally heading to the big screen, and not just as a side character. Staring Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, the movie will be an origin story (naturally) of how Wonder Woman became, well, Wonder Woman. It will tell the story of Princess Diana, and how she left Themyscira with an American pilot named Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) to help end World War I, where she eventually became the Wonder Woman we all know and admire. Of course, Wonder Woman will also premiere in “Justice League” next November, and, who knows, maybe a potential sequel?
