Pullman is more than prepared for the Holy Month of Ramadhan this year with new offerings at Sana Sini Restaurant ( Jl. M. H. Thamrin No. 59, Pullman Jakarta; +62 21 390 6444; pullmanjakartaindonesia.com). Lebanese Chef Zein Rahhal returns to prepare his signature dishes, such as the Beef Shawarma, Baklava and Lamb Ouzi. Aside from that, guests can also taste Middle-Eastern and Indonesianinspired beverages like Turkish coffee and the Ramadhan Tower Mocktail. For entertainment, the restaurant invited the Cairo-based Tanoura dancers to perform the Egyptian-influenced Sufi whirling, which will show the dancers wearing multicolored skirts spinning around in repetitive circles—a symbolic imitation of the planets orbiting the sun. There’s no doubt that you’d feel the spirit of Ramadhan there.
