Oversized clothes are taking the fashion world by storm, and Givenchy is in the game with its fall/winter 2017 menswear collection. Marking the last collection by Riccardo Tisci, models including Willy Cartier, Rhys Pickering and Victor Perr were seen wearing oversized shirts and jackets. The oversize game, however, also extends to the little details, including oversized buttons, collars, storm flaps and accessories. Case in point: The brand’s oversized R letter pendant or the oversized metallic button on top of the oversized horn button jackets. The collection is made even grander with horizontal stripes, stars, embroidered check patterns and graphic prints, all of which are inspired by Riccardo Tisci’s childhood memories of Western America. It seems that Tisci is (literally) going all out for his last collection for Givenchy, all the better to leave a lasting legacy.
