After months of anticipation, Raf Simons debut collection with

Calvin Klein is finally here. Taking inspiration from the different characters and different individuals that make up America, the fall 2017 menswear collection boasted a jumble of styles from folk and western to antique quilting. “It’s the future, the past, Art Deco, the city, the American West. It’s all of these things and none of these things,” says Simons of the collection. What truly sets this collection apart, however, might just be its clean and tight denim shirts and pants—which stands in stark contrast with the season’s oversized craze. There’s also the clear influence from ranchwear and marching band uniforms. A particularly noteworthy part of the collection are the denim shirts with ’60s-style western collars.
