After having its release date pushed back five times, “Renegades” is finally set to hit theaters this September. It tells the story about a team of U.S. Navy SEALs on assignment in war-torn Europe to recover a hoard of gold at the bottom of a lake which used to be a town. As the story goes, the town was flooded to prevent the Nazis from taking the treasure. Fast forward to today, and we have the team of SEALs going rogue to retrieve the gold. Written by Luc Besson (of “Taken” and “The Transporter” fame) and Richard Wenk, this movie will definitely satisfy those of you who love action thriller films like “The Expendables” or “Die Hard.”
