Samsung recently introduced nine new series for its 2018 TV lineup. Among the highlights is the QLED (quantum dot LED) TV, which comes newly equipped with an ambient mode. This mode lets the TV intuitively interact with you even when you’re not actively watching it. This includes displaying news headlines, traffic reports, images and weather updates. For the wall-mounted version, activating the ambient mode will also allow the TV to mimic the pattern of your wall, making it appear seamless with its surroundings. The Q8F and Q9F series also boasts a feature called Direct Full Array (DFA), which delivers superb image contrasts by automatically regulating brightness. The QLED TV is also the first in the indu stry to combine the AV Data and Power cable into one. This all-in-one cable can conveniently extend up to 15 meters.
