From the creators of MTV’s “Scream,” “The Crossing” is a suspensful thriller centering around Jude Ellis ( Steve Zahn), the sheriff of Port Canaan, a small fishing town on the coast of Oregon. Having relocated from Oakland to pursue a quieter life with his son, while also escaping his dark past, Ellis’ plans soon collapsed when a group of refugees came to Port Canaan seeking asylum. The gist is, the refugees are American, and the war they are fleeing from is 180 years in the future. Also, some of them are genetically engineered. So get ready for another “what is happening here?” moment like the series “Lost.”
