Acting as a reboot to the 1965 series of the same name, “Lost in Space” centers on the adventures of the Robinson family. The story starts right after their spaceship— the Jupiter 2—encounters a rip in space-time, causing them to crash on an unknown planet. Aside from the Robinsons, there are also two outsiders who find themselves thrown together by circumstance: Dr. Smith (Parker Posey), a master manipulator, and the roguish Don West (Ignacio Serricchio), a highlyskilled, blue collar contractor.
