The story of Braun Büffel started when Johann Braun opened a leather workshop back in 1887. Offering his services as a master saddler and upholsterer in the lush town of Kirn, Germany, he could not have imagined that the brand bearing his name would still one of the most prominent manufacturer of leather goods today. A hundred and thirty-two years may separate the brand’s first saddle from its latest creation, but some things never change: The unquestionable and enduring quality of Braun Büffel. The brand knows the importance of building and maintaining its reputation by delivering durable and dependable leather goods for decades.

Built on a firm foundation of quality, craftsmanship and tradition, Braun Büffel is ready to conquer new markets and grow from strength to strength into its second century. With creative director Fabio Panzeri helming the brand’s artistic endeavors, Braun Büffel is more than ready to shake things up with something more visionary. the house with a more radical vision, turning the brand’s classic DNA into something bold, retro and futuristic at the same time. This is the future legacy of Braun Büffel and we are ready to witness the evolution.

The Millennial Nomad

Now that the archaic societal laws of dressing are broken and the ways to see the world has changed, one must adapt. Influenced by the styles of the millennial generation, Braun

Büffel’s fall/winter 2019 collection forms a narrative titled “The Millennial Nomads”. The collection, created by Fabio Panzeri, explores the nuances of identity, attitudes and societal definitions in today’s world.

The collection itself is inspired by the next generation of travelers, explorers and nomadic entrepreneurs who have made the world their office. Following the notion of travel, utilitarianism and technical finesse set the tone for the collection. Utilitarian materials are imagined with an outdoor urban sensibility for the men’s collection. Classic shapes are combined with rugged attitude to accentuate modern luxury, specially explored for the man who is tech-urbanite.

“To be classic means to be modern. It’s a question of evolution,” explained Panzeri. “If you want to be classic, you have to evolve.”

That is precisely what he does at Braun Büffel: Revisiting and reimagining designs and adding to it with his fresh perspective while staying true to the brand’s DNA. A new horizon at Braun Büffel is opening.

Technomad

One of the highlighted lines from the fall/winter 2019 collection for men is the Technomad. With a street-style design aesthetic, the Technomad pieces are modern and feature easy shapes to make the bags perfect for everyday metropolitan use. They are crafted in soft nappa leather combined with the house’s signature RetroFlex reflective fabric that exudes a holographic glow. The all-black collection also features a new modern magnetic slider buckle hardware (Fidlock), further reinforcing Braun Büffel’s commitment to innovation in the digital age.
