“For Life” is a new legal drama that is loosely inspired by the story of Isaac Wright Jr. who was wrongfully convicted of being a drug kingpin. In the series, the story centers on Aaron Wallace ( Pinnock), a nightclub owner who was arrested on trumped- up drug charges and sentenced to nine years in prison. While doing time, he found various loopholes in the system and got himself a law degree, passed the bar and is now able to appear in New York courtroom as a bona fide lawyer. He is determined to clear his own name and that doesn’t sit well with the cabal that brought him down.
