From its humble beginnings of three dining tables in a 3x4 metre space, Angke restaurant is now the longest-standing Hakka style Chinese restaurant in Jakarta, with well-known facilities for public events, legendary dishes and impressive history.

Some of the most popular fare at Angke is the salted chicken, eel served with fumak vegetables, frog soup, tausi tofu fish, and many more. All of these original dishes are created from ingredients sourced directly from the market, handpicked by the chefs themselves to ensure freshness and quality in everything, which in turn produces an original taste.

Aside from its flagship restaurant at Ketapang, Central Jakarta, Angke restaurant is also located at Kelapa Gading, with a spacious wedding hall, function halls and VIP rooms to cater for its clientele's specialized needs.

“Generations of celebrities, high-profile businessmen and entrepreneurs, have flocked to enjoy Angke's unique culinary offering of Chinese delicacies in unique Hakka style since the 1970s.”
