Terroir in... vodka? Belvedere

is looking to establish the two terroirs of its Single Estate Rye Series, grown with premium Dankowskie Diamond Rye. Belvedere Smogóry Forest from the continental forested area in West Poland, brings a sweeter-tinged vokda with bolder pepper finish. Belvedere Lake Bartężek comes from the icy, pure northern region, which results in a more delicate, creamy and toasted nuts palate. You would have to drink them neat to identify these characteristics though. With wine companies dipping their toes into fortified spirits, and spirits adopting more artisanal tropes in their production, it's customers who are spoilt for choice lately.
