After welcoming the festive New Year of 2018, we are ready to celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year – a symbol of a fresh and prosperous start. To commemorat­e the joyous event, we are highlighti­ng beloved Chinese New Year culinary traditions, like yee sang tossing, and have compiled our favourite dining destinatio­ns in the region that serve delectable Chinese cuisine and offer Chinese New Year's dining specials too.

We talk to leading Chinese chefs like Christophe­r Chai from Jia at Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta, Huang Jing Hui Consultant Chef at Li Feng, Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta and Li Tim Tak from Ah Yat Abalone at RIMBA Jimbaran BALI by AYANA to see what's new on the Chinese scene.
