Sum­mer­long is known and loved for serving de­li­cious food, fo­cus­ing on fresh in­gre­di­ents and tasty, vi­brant flavours. Chef Kyle Michael Hen­der­son re­cently launched the culi­nary team's

lat­est cre­ations in the brunch menu. Con­tin­u­ing his key points in fresh in­gre­di­ents, Kyle em­pha­sises nu­tri­tion­ally nur­tur­ing pro­duce and in­gre­di­ents, while at the same time mak­ing sure that the dishes are as ap­petis­ingly flavour­ful as they are ben­e­fi­cial.

Guests will be spoiled by the wide se­lec­tion of hearty meals, like the ful­fill­ing Real Turk­ish Break­fast. This dish is rem­i­nis­cent of the ex­otic shores of Turkey, com­pris­ing spiced mer­guez sausage, Turk­ish beans and a cu­cum­ber and tomato salad on the side. Adding tex­tures and flavours are the Turk­ish eggs in a warm yo­ghurt and chilli-spiced browned but­ter, along with condi­ments like spinach and feta borek, sour cherry jam, harissa, honey ri­cotta, cured beef, lab­neh, smoked olives, man­darin or­ange and feta cheese.

An­other hearty choice is the Shak­shuka, with baked eggs cooked to per­fec­tion, en­hanced with a sweet hint of rich tomato ragout, while the mer­guez sausage adds a smoky spicy note. Soft feta cheese and toasted sour­dough com­plete the punch­ing dish. Mean­while, the whole grilled avo­cado on sour­dough is the per­fect epit­ome of brunch food, with a gen­er­ous serving of Mered­ith feta goat cheese, le­mon and gar­lic bread­crumbs, pick­led fen­nel and sunny side up egg on top of a whole char­coal-grilled avo­cado.

The health-con­scious will be over­joyed to discover the haloumi and herb grain bowl, con­sist­ing of mixed grains, grilled haloumi, car­rots cooked in honey and cumin seed, sliced avo­cado, herb salad and fen­nel pick­led in grain vine­gar.

For an ul­ti­mate brunch feel, opt for the ad­di­tional sous-vide soft egg to top it off.

For a buf­fet ex­pe­ri­ence, Sum­mer­long has in­tro­duced The Counter se­lec­tion, brim­ming with sal­ads, grains and house­baked treats. In­spired by the Mediter­ranean, the dishes are made with fresh sea­sonal in­gre­di­ents and high­lights in­clude char­coal­grilled eg­g­plant with yo­ghurt, chilli and herb dress­ing, steamed miso broc­coli with gar­lic, green chilli and white wine dress­ing, and roasted pump­kin with tahini le­mon dress­ing, caramelised onions and pump­kin seeds and chopped herbs.

The food is not the only thing that will agree with your palate, as the bev­er­age se­lec­tion is just as tasty and re­fresh­ing. Healthy juices and smooth­ies, like the mixed berries or the mango and peach, add a trop­i­cal touch to the whole ex­pe­ri­ence. Sum­mer­long also of­fers its fa­mous milk­shakes, home­made kom­bucha and zesty tip­ples, like the Cu­cum­ber Gin Rem­edy, Aperol Spritz and Pimm's Sum­mer Lemon­ade.
