A reception was held by the CT Arsa Foundation to celebrate its 11th anniversary. Held at Menara Bank Mega, the reception event saw the attendance of business tycoon Chairul Tanjung and his wife, Anita Ratnasari, who serves as the chairwoman of CT Arsa Foundation. The event featured traditional instrumental and dance performances, cake-cutting and a donation ceremony. A throng of luminaries and dignitaries was spotted among the attendees. The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan invited guests to a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the nation’s independence. The reception was held at the Grand Ballroom of the Grand Hyatt Jakarta. Ambassadors and dignitaries from all over came to join in on the celebrations.

The Women’s International Club Jakarta held its opening ceremony at the Jakarta Convention Center. The inauguration was opened by the First Lady, Hj. Iriana Widodo, and endorsed the Sumateran Semarak Jumputan culture as this year’s theme. Many of the city’s well-heeled ladies were spotted among the crowd.
