“We met in a nightclub in Hollywood and it was love at first sight when I saw her moves,” says TV presenter Poppy Jamie of the moment she met model Suki Waterhouse. The British It girls became firm friends and have now channelled their friendship—and Instagram clout— into a business partnership, launching a handbag line called Pop & Suki in October last year. Their first collection comprises two key bag shapes (a camera and a tote) and a range of bag accessories—“best Friend” heart tags, clip-on leather tassels, and initial-bearing key chains—that are already set to be “it” bags. “We wanted to create clean, easy, stylish items that are amazing quality,” says Waterhouse. The bags, which have been instant Insta-sensations, come in a tight colour palette of pastel pink, cognac and black, and can be monogrammed with one’s name, just in case, you know, you need reminding.
