Dance your worries away at the new Omnia Dayclub Bali
The grand opening of OMNIA Dayclub Bali, the island’s most hotly anticipated new venue, was truly a weekend of champagne popping, sushi munching, and sundown swimming—all while trancing and chilling to some of the world’s best DJS coupled with spectacular, dancing fireworks that dazzled the entire Island of the Gods.
Situated on an elevated plateau overlooking limestone cliffs and the Indian Ocean, OMNIA Dayclub Bali is the hottest new destination on the block. With its vast area and incredible bars dotted around the venue, including its flagship restaurant Sake No Hana, OMNIA is packed with attractive daybeds that go for a very reasonable rate. For those wishing to fork out a little further, the venue’s cabanas and bungalows are accessible, all with private plunge pools for extra privacy.
OMNIA was transformed into a haven of electronic dance music for all techno junkies over its grand opening weekend. The crowd bore witness to DJ Marshmello on the first night, who span top tunes and uplifting vibes during his set. A burst of excitement and a huge wave of energy erupted among the audience as he took centre stage, coupled with the incredible visuals that were streamed to support his music.
And the weekend didn’t end on that high note. The second day saw 21-year-old Martin Garrix, the award-winning, platinum-selling
Dutch DJ and producer take his place in the DJ booth. With a roaring crowd in front of him and with all in all his thrall, Martin summoned up all his energy for another memorable night at OMNIA.
What’s a weekend out without some tantalising food as great company? Framed within OMNIA and located on a structure that makes it feel like it is suspended in midair, Japanese-restaurant Sake no Hana made its debut in Asia at this strategic location. Chef Hideshi Hiwatashi was especially flown in from London to treat a select number of guests to a Japanese treat.
Alongside media luminaries MTV Australia and E! News, Indonesia Tatler was the only publisher granted the opportunity of an exclusive interview with Martin Garrix. When asked what he loved most about Indonesia and Bali, he said: “I absolutely love the people and the culture, as well as the energy Indonesians have. It’s my first time here and I cannot wait to come back.”
