FEAST by Kokiku

The famed online culinary platform that includes contributors Chef Yuda Bustara and Chef Putri Miranti is now a real restaurant joined by Chef Ray Jansen. Fusion Indonesian classics with modern twists are the forte here, such as the giant crispy meatballs with tauco sauce and the grilled eggplant doused with candlenut sauce and basil oil. The inspiration spills over to drinks, with the likes of Djahe, a ginger-infused vodka with asam Jawa and lemongrass, and Coco Moco, which is coconut water and fruit mixed with pandan and lemon juice.

SOULFOOD

Cool inside and out with verdant plants and green décor, SOULFOOD welcomes diners with Indonesian menu items dear to many. From green-chilli-spiced ox tongue to grilled duck to calamari with matah sauce and so much more, sharing the big portions makes for a fun and delicious meal. For snacks and desserts, which are also available for meetings in the two private rooms, the bittersweet kopi tubruk or sweetened milk coffee is perfect with fried plantains and traditional Indonesian cakes.

Libris

Transporting the socially relaxed tapas and pintxos cultures from Spain into a chic marble-lined eatery, Libris has lined 11 small fusion bites to go with its expansive drinks menu. Different types of sherry, vodka, whisky and other liquors barely cover the list as wine goes on to cover many grape varieties and regions. Basque’s famed txuleton steak can then satisfy famished diners with dry-aged, prime-rib meat simply dusted with three types of salt.

O! Fish

Dion Wiyoko now brings O! Fish to a second branch in Kelapa Gading, serving up fun seafood platters from squid and prawn to cobia, salmon and dory fish. Custom menus see the seafood cooked by either pan searing or deep-frying—on the top then goes one of seven sauces and, on the side, either rice or potatoes. Afterwards, sip on some iced coffee and savour a Bakepack cake by Fiona Anthony while lounging in the cosy, airy space.

Fedwel

As the newest venture from the Leafwell Group following its catering service and Berrywell outlets, Fedwell is delivering bowlfuls of nutrition and flavours alongside creative drinks. Choose either its signature or DIY combinations based on healthy carbs and layered with lean proteins, organic vegetables, and wholesome dressings to cater to any dietary requirements. For drinks, Fedwell’s coconut coffee offers a savoury take on good beans and beetroot, or the turmeric soy latte is a warm ending to an energising meal.
