Take, for example, the Vicky bag and Niki Chain bag. Both coveted bags have similarities—they make perfect wardrobe staples that are suitable for various occasions, for example. The Vicky bag is available in large and medium sizes in patent quilted leather and lambskin quilted leather. Meanwhile, the medium-sized Niki chain bag is made in crocodile embossed nubuck leather and black leather with metal armature.

With its new square shape and sliding leather chain strap for cross-body or shoulder wear, Vicky makes a bold statement with a geometric silhouette and luxe material for the woman who has an affinity for the 1980s.

Adding visual impact is a new vertical channel quilting and an oversized monogram featuring the interlaced YSL initials in gleaming gold metal. Piling on the shine is mirrored patent leather in jet black or fire engine red with an 80s inflection to finish the retro-inspired look.

The leather Niki Chain bag is a staple piece and features a fold-over top, a front logo plaque, a quilted effect, multiple interior compartments, a back slip pocket, and a chain shoulder strap.

Niki embodies the absolute modernity and authentic spirit of today’s Saint Laurent. With a vintage rock vibe, graphic and supple lines, and a sliding chain enabling it to be worn cross-body or on the shoulder, the Niki is the must-have bag that can take you places during the day and transit effortlessly into the night.

Lending the bag an edgy retro-chic look is the crinkled calfskin leather, which is drumdried for three days to obtain the destructed wrinkled semi-matt effect. Adding to the vintage feel is the aged silver-toned hardware and the flat quilting with visible stitching.
