Republic of Fritz Hansen’s new interpretation of Arne Jacobsen’s iconic Series 7 chair features a shell in two colours - deep red Merlot and pastel Nude - that have been developed over time in the design studio to match the four-legged base that comes in a 22K rose gold coating. The pressure-moulded veneer chair is a further development of the classic Ant chair. The four-legged stackable chair represents the culmination of the lamination technique. Jacobsen exploited its possibilities to develop the chair’s unique shape.
