Mike Sterling, Shona Lindsay, Tom Solomon and Jayne O’Mahony take to the stage at Ciputra Artpreneur. They will sing songs they have performed in principal roles in London, notably the Phantom and Christine in Phantom of the Opera, Jean Valjean and Cosette in Les Miserables, and Sandy in Grease.

Erasmus Huis on HR Rasuna Said presents a photographic exhibition by Rob Renoult. Prints of original batik stamps in a pattern of repetition are combined with compositions and colour schemes inspired by Andy Warhol, Jackson Pollock and Yves Klein.

July 29–30 L’INCORONAZIONE DI POPPEA

The New Opera Singapore presents Claudio Monteverdi’s 1643 opera, based on Roman emperor Nero’s courtesan-mistress, Poppea, who launches a ruthless campaign to become his empress. Fourteen principal singers, including sopranos Jeong Ae Ree and Christina The, bring this grand oeuvre to life at the Victoria Theatre.
